The NU Coliseum has provided Husker wrestling with a distinct home advantage for more than 80 years. Located in the heart of campus right next to Memorial Stadium, the Coliseum provides the Huskers a thrilling match-day environment each and every season. A perfect setting for college wrestling, the Coliseum was home to the National Duals from 1993 to 1997, and hosted the 2009 Big 12 Championships when Nebraska claimed a share of the conference title.
The Bob Devaney Sports Center houses the wrestling offices, locker room, weight room and wrestling room, all just steps from each other, providing an atmosphere conducive to elite training. The wrestling program will greatly benefits from renovations to the Devaney Center, highlighted by the opening of the Hendricks Training Complex in the fall of 2011. The building includes a new practice facility, coach’s offices as well as brand new strength and conditioning and athletic medicine areas.
Just 60 miles down the road from Lincoln, the Nebraska wrestling program has utilized Qwest Center Omaha multiple times. In March of 2010, the University of Nebraska was the host school for the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships as nearly 16,000 fans filled the Qwest Center for each of the six sessions. Nebraska also hosted the 2005 Big 12 Championships at Qwest Center Omaha.
