This is Nebraska Softball

Nebraska is one of the nation's elite softball programs. Entering the program's 38th year in 2013, Husker softball has accumulated an impressive list of accomplishments. Nebraska has made seven trips to the Women's College World Series, while appearing in 21 NCAA Tournaments and winning 55 postseason games. All of of those totals rank in the top 10 in NCAA history, while Nebraska also ranks in the top 10 with more than 1,000 all-time victories.

Under Hall of Fame Head Coach Rhonda Revelle, the Huskers have advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 16 of the past 18 seasons. In addition to being successful on the national level, Nebraska has won 18 conference titles in 37 years. For its tradition, Nebraska was named the 10th-best program in NCAA history by CBS College Sports in 2008.

Nebraska has also enjoyed individual success producing 21 All-Americans, including current Husker Taylor Edwards in 2011. The Huskers' commitment to excellence continues in the classroom, where NU has produced 29 Academic All-Americans, including Ashley Hagemann and Nikki Hagget. That total is six more than any other softball program, while the total ranks second nationally among all female sports, trailing only Nebraska's volleyball team.
